Our passion for cycling

Team Iparralde U19 was founded in 2020 with the desire to introduce local junior cyclists to the finest races in the Spanish Basque Country, which borders us.

Having been unable to find this option among the various clubs in the surrounding Basque Country and southern Landes, the decision was made to bring together juniors from these partner clubs, who were supportive of the idea, to create a team. Competing in national and international competitions in France and Spain, our idea of representing the French Basque Country on the other side of the border was fully appreciated.

In 2024, we became affiliated with the Fondacion Euskadi, a subsidiary of the professional team Euskaltel Euskadi.

In 2025, we fully embraced our choices and became affiliated with the FFC by creating the club. Nevertheless, the clubs that have been our partners since the beginning remain valuable partners. If they detect competitive potential in one of their young players, they will have the opportunity to be trained within Team Iparralde. We thus combine passion, transmission, team spirit, and performance.
